I have been serving as the Worship and Arts Pastor at Central Church since December of 1998, and have been an ordained Deacon in the Church of the Nazarene since 2004. I'm a proud Mid America Nazarene University graduate, where I met my wife, Julie, while she was studying to be an RN.

In addition to music and worship, my passions include following my favorite sports teams. There is nothing better than a September afternoon with the five-time World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers, waving a "terrible towel" and watching the "Steel Curtain" defense shut down the Cleveland Browns. In March, it is all about my favorite mythical bird, the Jayhawks, and how far they can go in the "big dance."  And I bleed "blue" during the summers as I watch and hope that my beloved Royals are not eliminated from the playoffs before the end of May.

I also enjoy riding motorcycles and hanging out with my beautiful wife and two daughters, Faith and Lauren. I love watching my daughters' soccer games, attending their recitals, and seeing them grow in their faith. God has given me the best family in the world!
